Okay maybe I am being a little crazy here but when the hell did infotainment become a good thing.
Twice (and I do not watch much TV) on the TV in the last two days I have heard it used with positive connotations. Once was by a bloody product pushing car company in reference to their great in dash "infotainment" systems.
The word has been usurped, commercialism has taken a lesson from minority groups and is now owning the very words used to mitigate and criticize its influence.
Aaaahhh.
