This was in regards to the opening of the public prosecution office which has just charged his party with what looks like elections fraud. The office was opened in the same year that the alleged offences took place.
My own personal take: I find the counterpoint campaign by the conservatives offensive. They're calling it an accounting issue, as though that in any way changes the fundamental illegality or as if white collar crime is a lesser issue. Go figure.
