Canada is boycotting the UN.
This would be comical if it was not so stupid.
North Korea's So Se Peong is currently the president of the disarmament comittee, okay comical in and of itself. However, the position is granted on a rotating basis. It is quite rightly, by the same rules via which we ask countries like North Korea to disarm, their turn to chair.
The decision to boycott (which is not supported by any other country) is political grandstanding and bound to be harmful to Canada's reputation. If we do not accept the rules as they are what right have we to ask others to do so?
